This video came in 2nd place in Goozex.com's FILM! UPLOAD! WIN! contest.
Some parts of the audio may be difficult to hear, so I recommend reading along while watching.
Script:
A long time ago, in a galaxy that's not that far away because it's the same one we're living in right now, there was a little dragon... dinosaur... thing named Goozex. Goozex had a vision, yes he had a vision, to create the greatest video game trading website on the internetz... lol.
Instead of trading directly with others, he thought it might be a nice idea to have a market controlled trade environment where people can send games to others and receive points which they can use to request games with point values determined by supply and demand, the age of the game, the current market value, and other factors where each user would get to use the points they receive on any game they so desire to select. Furthermore, the value of their points would maintain a constant value in the trade economy and can be kept for for all eternity. Basically, he thought, you send out a game, you get some points, then use those points to get another game, and you don't have to worry about a damn thing.
Now Goozex, being the snobby bastard that he is, decided to name the service after himself, calling it Goozex.com. Also, in his quest for world domination, he decided that each person requesting a game would need to pay him one dollar. Of course, that dollar would be used to keep the site running, and to provide new stuff for the members, so it all came back in the end.
When Goozex.com was first given life on the Internet, it was simply a sad blip of electronic data, but soon the first two traders arrived. We'll call them Theodore and Emily.
Theodore purchased his first Goozex points on that fateful day, which he used to request the video game of his dreams. Emily, of course, would be the one to provide him with that game, and give him eternal happiness, as well. No, not that kind, stop it!
Anyway, Emily prepared this first game for shipment, creating what would become "the way you should package your games when sending games on Goozex".
She picked up the video game then, and placed it gently inside of a bubble mailer, inserting the top half of that random address label printout provided by Goozex. She then cut off the label portion of that paper, using packing tape to tape down all four sides of it to the outside of the mailer. For extra safety, she used another piece of packing tape to tape down the seal of the bubble mailer. You know, just in case the game tried to claw its way out or something.
When she was all done with that, she brought the game to the friendly folks at the post office, using First Class shipping with Delivery Confirmation to send out the game. When she returned home to her computer, she sent a message to Theodore, telling him that the game was on its way and providing him with the delivery confirmation numbers.
After a few short days, the game had arrived. Theodore checked his mailbox and jumped with joy when he saw the package waiting for him. He rushed back into his house and tested out the game; everything worked perfectly. Being completely satisfied with the trade, he logged onto Goozex.com and left positive feedback for dear Emily who sent him the game.
Emily now had points of her own, and requested the video game of her dreams next. And thus, a legacy was born.
i just got a goozex account today. :D
I just have waaayy too many games, but I was wondering about the shipping.
We still have to pay normally for shipping it right? (i have 2 paper mario games that I wanted to be rid of)

Yes, you will have to pay normally for shipping. As it says in the video, I recommend shipping through the USPS with First Class shipping and Delivery Confirmation. That's the quickest, most cost effective, and safest way to send out your games to people. If you have any other questions feel free to send me a private message.

once someone wants to trade with you, do you send the game to their adress directly? because how would you know if your getting the points?
someone wants my offer what do i do now?
SoldierCyfix 3 years ago
Yes, once you have accepted the trade you send it directly to them. Since you are a new member you will receive your points once the person has received the game and left you positive feedback.
Send me a private message if you have any more questions. :)

What if they don't even leave any feedback for whatever reason? Do you still get the points?
PakiPrince31 3 years ago
If they fail to give feedback within 21 days then the system will automatically close the trade, you'll get full positive feedback, and you will get your points as well.
