For over 25 years, the legendary band Stevie Stiletto were punk rock stalwarts, yet never got the national recognition they deserved. After dozens of releases, thousands of shows, hundreds of brushes with the law, countless line-up changes and one terminally ill diagnosis, they finally get their due with this two hour documentary. Limited theatric release begins in October, with the DVD/CD combo set available through www.geneva13.com and amazon.com.
My brother was living in Jacksonville when these guys came about and sent me their tape. I played it and loved it instantly. The rest of my friends were listening to Top 40 Pop and Rap. Here I was, the lone person in Asheville, NC, rocking out to one of the greatest bands on the planet. No one here knew what to make of it, but I did...I made it as loud as I could. Thanks guys for making my teen-age years a little more angst ridden.
