Marika Bournaki plays Bach on NPR's FROM THE TOP

Making her nationwide debut on NPR's FROM THE TOP in front of a live, sold out crowd, 17 year-old pianist Marika Bournaki plays J.S. Bach English Suite no.3 in G minor BWV 808; Gavotte I Gavotte II; Gigue.

When you don´t have enough knowledge and a strong foundation of the elements of the baroque style and then you want to break the rules for the sake of developing the "individual" style and sonority, you get something like her playing. It is vulgar.
