I've done everything on here. I've selected first the Other option and committed that one. Then did the XDA UC Customize option. After it completed I, this time, selected yes to soft reset. When it boots up I go to phone options and on the network tab I select the mode of operation as GSM/UMTS only and then it automatically reselects CDMA only. So I tried to commit to Generic and went through the whole process again and when selecting GSM or Global like the first time, it doesn't work. Help!

Hey do you have any ideas as to how to make the phone run faster? It's just way too slow now. It gets so annoying...Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!! :-)

@b24688 yea. This is video tutorial to SIM unlock it. I've been using it on T-mobile and a few others have tried it so far and left comments and it worked for them as well. I would be really curious to know if this will work for any of the other versions like the Sprint.

theres a lil problem I have with the fone after unlocking it....I cant switch off the phone by pressing and holding the power button anymore. Please is there anyother way I can restart the phone? Asides taking out the battery that is..:-)

@b24688 hold down the end call key and that should power it off. I experienced this same thing and then switched back to using the power button again.
