The Catholic Church takes Christ seriously when He told us to eat His Body and drink His blood. From time to time Christ lowers the veil and allows the world to see what truly happens during transubstantiation at every Catholic Mass during the consecration of the bread and wine.

I am enjoying your naivety actually. "One mediator" doesn't mean "one intercessor". Mediation occurs on a salvific level, i.e. only through Christ can we be SAVED. Mary and the saints can't save us, but they can intercede for us. If you don't believe we are entitled to pray to Mary and the saints for help, then it's probably time to get your bible out again. In John 11:25 Jesus claimed to be the "resurrection." Are we to go bury ourselves alive in the cemetery? Jesus claimed to be the vine, the light, the shepherd, etc. Matthew 10:38 reads, "And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me." Does God mean that we should literally carry wooden crosses around over our shoulder? Of course not!!!!!

To eat a human being is abomination to God!

When Jesus tried to explain to Nicodemus that he needed to be "born again" in John chapter three, Nicodemus took Jesus literally and was dumbfounded. Nicodemus was baffled, asking, how can I go back into my mother's womb and be born again? He looked at Jesus like he was crazy. Nicodemus was not thinking on a spiritual plane, but earthly.
