FROM THE ARCHIVES!
On January 20, 2006 Maysville senior Justin Corder hit a buzzer-beating shot beyond half court to force overtime against West Muskingum in the Muskingum Valley League. ESPN thought the shot was decent. Sportscenter made it number one on Top Plays! WHIZ-TV's Aaron Spragg called action, while Terry Kelly provided the color commentary.

Not only was the shot ESPN's Top Play, they also used the "shot" and the "call" twice as a teaser going into commercial break. All three are included in this clip. The shot also made Number 1 for ESPN "Calls of the Day," but that segment is not included.

The shot and all of the pub on ESPN definitely made Corder the BMOC. He is still known for it to this day from what I hear.

**NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED.

With 0.7 seconds remaining in regulation and West Muskingum leading by two, the Tornadoes Andrew Jones only needed to miss his second free throw to kill the clock. Instead Jones made the free throw, giving West Muskingum a 56-53 lead with 0.7 seconds still on the clock.

Maysville quickly took the inbound and got it to senior Justin Corder. Corder then tied the game with a shot beyond half court before the buzzer sounded, sending the game to overtime. Sure, Maysville lost the game in the extra period, but this shot was still amazing.
