Dire, Dire Docks Remake - Super Mario 64 - Mario Paint Composer 2.0

This is the long-promised remake of one of my earliest Mario Paint pieces. This song plays in Super Mario 64's water stages, notably Dire, Dire Docks as well as Jolly Roger Bay. This is certainly improved from the first version, mostly via having proper instrumentation. This piece loved all four of the new instruments.

This piece ended up incredibly long due to the multiple times through the main melody, but as each time is different slightly and adds to the whole... gentle ambiance.

Enjoy! Hopefully I'll keep these pieces coming, and sorry for the hiatus.

I know this Mario Paint since it came out and now that I've gotten much better at MPC I simply HAVE to ask you this.

Normally I don't like making songs that have already been done, but I'd like to try my hand at remaking this with the original soundset.

However, I don't want to get in conflict with you in any way, so I want to ask you first. I you mind me remaking this with the same soundset, I definitely won't do.

So... What do you say? I simply don't want you to take that comp as an insult.

If I may throw in some constructive criticism.

I'm quite fond of what you've done here, I used to sit around and listen to this song for hours just because I am mesmerized by it. Around the first 30 seconds where you have Marios doing the main melody, I'd have switched Boos into their place. I think it just sounds more true to the original. I'd have also inverted your use of Boos and Shy Guys entirely. I am not trying to be rude, it is just my opinion, and you still get 5 STARS so yay for you!!!
