Celebration at Queen's Park Survivors' Victory Lap

On October 6, 2008 at Queen's Park in Toronto, hundreds of people from across the province joined together at the Legislature for the Canadian Cancer Societys first-ever Celebration at Queens Park to mark the start of Cancer Prevention Week (October 6 -12). The event, which ran from 4:00 7:00 p.m., brought together elected representatives, cancer survivors, caregivers and volunteers to celebrate advances in and future commitments to cancer prevention.
