@MtnXfreeride My Galaxy Tab started smoking! I tried to eject the battery but gosh, it's unremovable... I know! I'll cut the juice and prevent a fire by holding down the power button!
Oh wait, you can't, because the hardware buttons rely on software.
Just because you can't see somethings a big deal doesn't mean it's not. You didn't have the same problem that I had, twice, nor did you get what the issue was to begin with. Try not to criticize others before voicing your opinion about something.

@TheAznGothic I blocked you because you wasted my time, twice, with completely illogical ramblings including your life story which couldn't be more irrelevant to what I said. The replacement Tab I got? Did the same thing. But I didn't cycle that battery... totally user error!
Unfortunately you opted to be like every ignorant YouTube commenter and opened your mouth before doing your research.
You made a new account just to message me, how bout we "grow a pair" and not rage over YouTube videos.

Thanks for posting this video. This happened to me, I couldn't get my device to turn on at all though. I tried plugging it in and that didn't help, the screen just wouldn't turn on at all. It was acting as if it was entirely dead. I finally tried the 10 second power button down thing like you suggested in the video since 3-5 seconds wasn't working and it finally turned itself on. I should note that I had the power plugged in at this time also. So thank you, I thought it was broken, but its not

I think it is a few of these that do that had mine for six months now and have never had this or any issue with mine. works like a dream.

It's a shame, I've seen a lot of defective Galaxy 10.1 videos, it's starting to look like a common thing. I must be very lucky as my one hasn't ever had any problems with it. It can randomly force close the browser sometimes, but it's rarer these days since it upgraded, and it's only Flash-heavy sites that tend to do it.
Not that I'm a fanboy or anything, but even now I'd have still have chosen it over the iPad 2 (although it was a very close decision!)

@RulZGame iPad is just a giant iPod. no changes whatsoever in the operating system. Nothing against the device itself (other than the price and the fact that it doesn't support Flash player), but rather, the OS
-
Defective device. Some of it could be bugs that have to do with the OS. Mine has no problems with any of this. If this happens with all the ones you replaced, then I would definitely say that a lot of it has to do with the operating system

@Hungryman97 Thanks! You know, for being ignorant. Also, design flaw since every Tab 10.1 I've gotten as a replacement did the same thing. Wewpz!
Thumbs down for you! :D

Terry - regardless of the quarrel with TheAznGothic your observations have merit and are vital for both users and producers. It is obvious for anyone who had to reset ANY processor based (or electronic) device. If you imagine, that your cell phone would NOT allow you to reset it - all the users would throw them our the next day, no doubt. Producers MUST overcome this issue, and build at least pin hole reset into tablets. Period. BTW - the device cannot overheat due to "heavy use" you were right

@videofan006 Thank you! Ugh, I can't go a day without getting hatemail for this and no one seems to understand. It's good to know that someone out there gets the situation.
