WHERE'S THE FUCKING SOUND YOU ASSHOLES?

Several reviews on Amazon talk about how cat's have nearly died because of this toy. The string was swallowed by cats in at least 2 incidents. When the toy is turned off the cats can actually grab and tear down the string, eating it.

damn cool! but i think my cat would destroy it easily, he's crazy! seriously. i have no-automatic toys like this one. and he bites de wire or anything he can and u just can't take it out from him. he has a strong mouth and he takes all the stuff under the bed and destroys it. he really thinks he's hunting toys to death!! he acts like a tiger or something.

My cats LOVED this, & played with it all the time when I put it on. Then my tortie not only chewed the whole string off, but she chewed the whole "conveyor belt" off! Now I am left with an orange stick with a cat face on the top that I can hang on my door! lol My other 5 cats have to do without right now as this is a little too much to keep replacing. Does anyone know IF there are replacement parts? I hate to throw it away if I can buy a belt & string. I will have to use Bitter Apple next time!

I got this for my cat about a month before she passed away...she was 12 and having health problems. I had to turn it on and let it run 4 or 5 nights. She'd watch it from a distance; then moved gradually closer to watch. About the 6th night I turned it on she started playing with it and she loved it. Even if your cat feigns indifference this toy will get them in the end!
