I first saw Chris play about 25 years ago at a drum clinc in kentish Town and he was way above most of the musicians in the room (we were all older checking out the prodigy new kid on the block), and we were all gobsmacked!! I went home tail between my legs and practised practised practised and then decided he was on a different level and I stuck to what I knew.

My sympathies go out to all of his friends and family

(and all of us that learnt and can still learn from a legacy)
