iPhone Bluetooth Hack -- BlueSn0w

They have now released their GUI version called SweetTooth. It is available in Cydia from the MMi source. So just simply search for the package.

Here I will be demonstrating the 1 stages of the Bluetooth Hack on the iPhone. It does not do anything other than recognize devices around it but it does pick up mobiles unlike the built in bluetooth app.
There is not much point to it yet but i'm shure there will be when the final release comes out. It is expected to have paring, send files and a super bluetooth thing.

Hey,

Yer this doesn't actually do anything at the moment other than pick up other bluetooth devices. It is pretty pointless but the developers just wanted to make a point that the iPhone can have proper bluetooth. They are still working on a complete version.

Hey,

Both website are up and running. Maybe you had a bad connection or something?? The commands that I enter are:-

login

root

alpine (default)

/var/root/Bluesn0w

And then it should pick up all the devices around you. There is now a GUI version of this in Cydia called SweetTooth. Check it out.

hi george, i have the old iphone version 1.1.4, yesterday, i had a problem with it which is i cant open ANY application requires the keyboard :S, i live in a not supported country so i cant restore it, do u have any idea how to fix it,

Hey,

First, thanks for subscribing. Right, I am really not sure but is there any way that you can update possibly?? I'm not really sure what disadvantages you have from living in an unsupported country but by what your saying, it doesn't allow you to use itunes to restore!?!? The only thing that I would do if I had this problem is Turn it off, install another app and if all that fails then restore or update. Thats all I can give you unfortunately. Sorry.

well if you have an iPod that has bluetooth (so not the 1st generation one) you can send and recieve with iBluenova ;). just search for it on youtube you'll find
