I read on what they said about other religions...I'm a Protestant (that means I say if you simply believe in Jesus, you'll go to Heaven because faith influences actions)...and they say that I've shirked my responsibility as a Christian and will go to Hell.

I'm Protestant and I'm DISGUSTED by these people. That isn't the God I believe in. The God I believe in is a loving father who HATES sending people to Hell and only wants to love everyone and for them to love Him. He sent His son to give us a chance to be with him forever! WHY? Because He obviously LOVES people. These people have obviously missed the MAIN verse of the Bible--John 3:16 "For He so LOVED the world that He gave his only begotten son."
