Gordie himself says Orr's the best hockey player he ever saw, so 'nuff said folks, eh?
And it is undeniable that a team of 5 Bobby Orr's would defeat a team of 5 Anyone Else's. It begins with superior skating ability and speed, including the ability to skate backwards. None of the other top players of all-time, all forwards mind you, could come close to matching Orr's skating talent.

I saw Gordie play many times at the old Olympia stadium in Detroit.....In his prime he was the epitomie of power and grace. Lots of folks dont remember he was ambidextrius and could shoot from either side. Gordie = greatest player of all time.
