@budafel Both bands were formed at basically the same time so I don't think there was any influence either way. I really enjoy Chicago but I think Lighthouse has their own unique sound, a little bit more of a big band sound to them. You just don't hear music this "deep" anymore. Amazing group.

@TCall2004 They do. Read a bio on line-Wikipedia, I think. Chicago was a big influence.

@ghermangto yeah I remember Earth News. Used to work in college radio up here in Mass. and we subscribed to it. Wish I had saved some of the transcripts.
