He is a friggin musical genius. He used to produce write, and pretty much play everything also..I think he played every instrument on "FRESH". Today, he would be in rehab. This is indeed a tragedy. I have seen recent interviews, and despite all the massive amounts of PCP and whatnot he has done, it is a miracle he is able to still form coherent sentences. Such a shame people were not "intervening" back then

After research. This is what happened. Sly and Band sorta managed themselves so they missed alot of dates. (shoulda had a manager). People got pissed because they didn't show up. He missed Cavetts show 1 or 2 times so he was upset. But as you can see it doesn't matter cuz the man is there and all is well!

Sly's the man! Rocked Woodstock, great funky music. very intelligent and funny. Look how he takes on whitey!
