Sly and the Family Stone on Dick Cavett show loaded on drugs. Sly was way into being geared on coke. This was shot in July 1970. Shit went off back in the 70s.

Sly was indeed one bad mf of a musical genius, no doubt about it, giving us a lot of the baddest funk/rock grooves ever made (no offense, Godfather). Pretty sad the way he was basically removed from the music scene by his own success, temptation, and his own addictions. At the same time, I'm guessing it'd be safe to say that ol' Sly probably had himself one hell of a time.
