  • I love your work, Mr. Vachss!!!

  • Mr Vachss. I heard about you back in 1979, I think it was. You are one of my favorite people. I was abused emotionally, physically, and sexually for a number of years in different ways. Going away to college and then into the service to escape one of my molesters; reading, studying, and coming to an awareness, included reading about you and your work. God bless you. I will always believe that you empowered me to face the truth and stop the lies.

  • this is why i tell everyone about Vachss & PROTECT. because this ISN'T the saddest, scariest story i've heard. or lived through. and thank you to the man willing to take a stand all those years ago, and make such an impact on the world.

  • That had to be the saddest and most horrific story I've ever heard. Thank goodness for the men and women who stand on the front lines protecting our children. And thank you, Mr. Vachss, for not letting the public turn away and pretend it doesn't exist.

  • Shudder.

  • God bless you, Mr. Vachss. I was given Batman: The Ultimate Evil as a gift as a teenager and never appreciated the book fully. When I tried to read it, it was so different from a typical comic book story that I wasn't able to enjoy it at the time. Now, as a 31 year old, knowing what you do and why you do it, I'm glad my family contributed in some way to your career.

  • Vachss is one of a kind.

  • I've never read an author with Vachss's style before, and I've never been able to put down a Vachss novel once I've started it.

Thanks You Andrew, you've opened my eyes to a dark underworld I never knew existed.

  • You ROCK, AnDreW! Really.

  • You are a wonderful man, and author.

The compassion you show to "Children of the Secret" in your books is wonderful.

I also appreciate the fully-developed, good women characters you present in your books. Not many men can write a woman character without putting the character, and women in general, down. Thank you for not giving in to sexism.

  • God Bless you, Andrew.
