Grooming is a big difference in a ragdolls life. Usually if they get out like my cat did they come back with knots in there hair that you have to cut off; It's painful for the cat.
My only points of advice is watch what they are doing when they are young. When Casper was a kitten we found him sleeping INSIDE a broken Computer moniter.
Anyways, he was killed. My family found him; I do not know how he died. Chances are a dog got to him or he was ran over.

Yeah, they are. People say a dog is a mans best friend, well I begged to differ when he was alive. That cat was always there. Man, 2 years now. It's thought. I hope your cat is healthy. Have a good day.

You NEVER let a Ragdoll out of the house! They do not protect themselves like other breeds. Poor little guy!

Not Capser. He was, for lack of a better word evil. Naw, he was a good cat. He let us know that he didn't like anything. I remember when he cornered my mom and she started to scream at me to get my cat. I got there at Casper was growling, hissing and everything because my mom pulled out some Wiskas. He hated that food, just hated it.
Thanks for posting.
