Many horses are killed for meat every year. The average figures stand at 100,000 approx and in Europe 10,000. These horses have a terrible journey and suffer from dehidration etc.
They dont deserve any of it and its cruel and unnessacery. Horses are lovely creatures and are so trusting with people.
I made this video after watching the news about the 84 horses seized after being found in a feild neglected and starving. Four horses had to be euthanised on the scence due to their bad conditions. After that was discussed on the news they began to talk about horse slaughter and telling us the links from horse racing to horse slaughter. 4,000 race horses every year are sent to slaughter because of injuries, old age, no talent in the racing business etc.
Horse slaughter must be stopped. Please sign this petition also!

1. Horses are property. Even their owners would agree.
2. Better to be slaughtered than to suffer years just because dumb teens can't find a boyfriend to please them.
3. This is world is driven by money. Horse slaughter like any other slaughter is a lucrative business which bring in good money. That money can be used for a lot of good things. You're not seeing the big picture here kids
This is a fruitless struggle.You know why? Is it included in the political program of ANY party in the world??

How can anyone do such cruel things to horses and or any other animal... How would they feel if the rolls were reversed ?? I wish we could show them just how it feels to be the animal for a change !!!!! God didn't make these animals for ( so called ) people to abuse ... He made them for all of us to enjoy and love !!! Just one of an animals Hair's has more love and compassion in it than the whole ( so called ) Human Body... SAD !!!

Horses are considered livestock. I know many of you have a sentimental value towards your horses as do I. However, with the reality of it all, slaughter is a neccessity. unfortunately it costs over $70,000 minus vet bills to care for a cabio if it lives 30 years. I agree there is irresponsible breeders out there, but I haven't seen any solutions from anti slaughter groups. The reason is it costs too much money and there are far few rescue and sanctuaries for these horses bound for slaughter.

Also what goddamn world do you live in, in which animals show compassion?? They are totally egoistic and cast out their own weak, old and sick. Imagine if we humans did that to our old, sick and weak? Animals show no mercy when killing other animals, they show absolutely no remorse, and how could they when they don't have a free will which is the basis for all morals??
