SSFOOL76 is right. A few months after this game, Jordan and Ewing were at a function in Chicago, and Jordan asked Ewing why he got so many goatending calls so early. Ewing replied, "Coach told me not to let anything go in."

Imma tar heel for life, but Patrick Ewings dumb ass lost this game. He goaltended 5 fucking times! LOL! Like the first James Worth field goal was SOOOOO unecessary. The problem with goaltending like that is u really dont know if the ball is going in or not. Dumb ass patrick ewing, thanks for the win

FYI, COACH JOHN THOMPSON ordered Patrick Ewing to block those shots regardless if it was called Goal Tending or not, because he wanted to intimidate the UNC team.
