LimeWire the file sharing software is dead after a judge ruled that their users committed a substantial amount of copyright infringement and damages to the music industry have amounted to over 1 billion dollars. Now in the real world the music industry hasn't been damaged at all, because they have been able to shit out stupid sums of money for the horrible musicisns like gaga beiber and fucking kesha. The only reason why the RIAA exist is just so that they can siphon every possible cent they can off of someone elses success. Just like every other government company.

this might just be me but if I was a musician who became reasonably popular and I put my albums/songs on sale on Itunes, music stores, online stores etc, I dont think I would be to fussed if a small percentage started to download my songs for free, I would be gracious that people are even listening to my music and getting it by any means possible. I dont think any musician makes a song thinking about the finanical benefits or how much money they can make out of it. fuck this copyright bullshit!
