Great quote by the female journalist: "...I've been on planes that had landing-gear that didn't look like they touched-down as gently as that one did...".
Could not have been executed any more perfect than that! Wow!

I agree. Media people say the dumbest shit and they always try to sound like they're experts. I've been a King Air 200 driver for a long time and I've been to Flight Safety several times - never once did I learn how to "dump fuel". Maybe I was gone the day they taught that...

exactly... these so called "experts" are normally screwed up. nice job killing the engines prior to touchdown, saving the props.

Very nice and smooth landing, by the way I'm in home economics with your son.

Muy buen dominio del avion,
So exactly how do you dump fuel on a King Air B200?
or
Is this more instant expert media man nonsense?
What happened to the LG?
Hydraulic or Electric?

Had bad eco-pack on the left engine, so we technically did dump a little fuel. Still can't find that "dump valve". This was a 1995 B200 so gear is hydraulic. The failure was internal to the power pack. Even a bench test did not reveal the problem, probably a rolled o-ring.

From one B200, PT6-42 driver to another - outstanding landing. I know I would not have pull that off quite so well.
