I am a long time Blackberry user and any phone will drop signal if u grip it around the antenna etc. Iphone sadly has had a bad rep of dropped calls so the media just called them out on it like they would have on any other device. Im not a ihpone hater(check my videos most of them are recorded and uploaded via my iphone 4) but a blackberry is a overall better phone in my opinion
@Pertained From what I've been told. It only happens in weak areas and it goes into no service and drops your call. Justin, the Editor in Chief has the iPhone 4 and doesn't have any problem with his signal where he lives.

@chukman102 The BlackBerry 9700 falls into the same price range as the iPhone 3GS. They were both released with a premium of $299 on contract.

@Pertained It's just weak reception areas. This was shot in my basement where I usually get 4-5 bars of service.
