@analsculpture: Your idealistic praise for Aung San Suu Kyi is understandable. However, don't forget who installed the Burmese junta in the 1960s and gave them money for decades to fight the Burmese Maoists. Gen. Ne Win was one of Washington's many butchers throughout the world.

Over 20 years ago she was dubbed a "Communist", and the U.S approved of what the military dictatorship did to her or other labeled "Communists". Yet today the U.S praises her like some kind of goddess.
