i just want to say that this video actually made me cry! there is alot of truth in it... for both sides of diabetes. i just want to say Thank you for trying to inform some people of how diabetes affects our everyday lives. Thanks! Kudos to You!!!

amazing bill! sounds just like me. when my sugar is high or low im not myself. it sucks cause i look like a jagoff to my family, friends, and girlfriend, but im not, im just "being diabetic". but ugh i hate the diabetes police. like cmon ive been diabetic for like four years i know what im doing. but i guess its just my love ones trying to care...still, im the expert amongst them. no one understands unless they have the beetis.... *sigh* cure it!

I think you are right, you know what you are doing but your family doens't. I just just ry to exlain it to them and what bothers you about your diabetes and what you've figured out. I'll tell the police to put the shots down!!! :-) Have a good one buddy!

I was dating a guy once that was a diabetic... of course, I'm a diabetic also, so if we were both low at the same time, sparks flew! I get horribly mean when I'm low, and so did he... He acutally had to physically force me to eat once. Like almost have to sit on me and pry my mouth open.

This is great! Im 15 and I've been a diabetic for 8 years. How do you keep your blood sugar so stable? My doctors think it's just adolescence, but my blood sugar has been a bit wacky lately.

I love this video! I know im the diabetes police and I know my boyfriends HATES it, but i think this video might help him to see it from my perspective, and the fact that its comming from another diabetic I think means alot. Im really not just being a nag, Its because I care. I dont think he realizes that the 'diabetic' side of him isnt the easiest person to be in a relationship with

I HATE the diabetes police! They always make me feel like I cannot manage myself or I am irresponsible. If I have a hypo and the diabetes police come out to question me, I will get just like you described, but worse! Makes me feel like they think I cannot manage my LIFE!

hey! ok i work with a diabetic an its hell!!! i try to understand his constant mood swings wich are mainly erational rude abusive angry an hes a genaral prick! anything i can do to chill him out or somthin? coz its realy effecting me :(

@4smokers1 Hi there, I can promise you that things WILL get better between you and your husband in time, I am sorryt o say that this is just the early stages of the condition, I have it,it has taken nearly three years to work it all out, I am on insulin now and I am much better for now and I manage it to the best I can, it will never be easy though, what I mean by this is that there will be good days and also bad, but don't be negative, you and your husband will get through this fine,

Yesterday my husband of 22yrs was diagnosed with type 2 adult onset db with a level blood sugar of 330. He was put on medication in the form of a pill. I don't know how to deal w/his moods& hatefulness towards me. He loses his temper all the time and acts like he hates me & if this behavior continues I will leave him as I'm crying all the time due to him being verbally hurtful towards me. I love him dearly & he has my full support, I don't know how to handle this........please help!
