Massive 5-Alarm fire at the Thomas Buck Hosiery Factory in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA. This video catches one of the many explosions that occured during the fire. The building itself is located at the corners of Jasper and York Streets and has been vacant and run down for years. I walk by it most days and lots of equipment and piles of material were visible in the basement from the street.

I learned later that two firefighters lost their lives containing this massive fire. It is only thanks to the PFD that the entire neighborhood, including my house, was not scorched.

Please pardon my amateur commentary.
