Maybe for landscape or portait, but i wouldnt lug around all that stuff for Magic Mountain or Disneyland. A nice Canon point and shoot is all you need for casual shooting. Just got the new D7000. Nice intermediate camera. Still have my first Minolta 35mm camera from 1977. But film is not practical anymore in most cases.

Hi I added a book to my bag and deleting it isn't working. I have even tried ctrl-x but it doesn't cut it. How do I delete it? It's taking up a lot of space.

I mainly shoot people indoors but the 70-300 is great. I used it a few weeks ago at the zoo and it preformed flawlessly.
