Barbie talked about one of her filming experience with Jerry on the MG1 set on Kang Xi Lai Le (27th Dec 2006)

Dee: There was once my sister hit Yan Cheng Xu (Jerry) until his face became crooked.

Barbie: There was once the director said, ask me to hit him with my fist. They said I used too little strength and it did not look realistic asking me to use all my might. I told the director that I am really strong, and I have used all my might to hit. Then Yan Cheng Xu said 'Xi Yuan, I tell you, hit me. Let's finish this with one ok. Hit me.' I said, 'I am very strong ye.' Then he said, 'Just hit me.' I said, 'I am afraid I might kill you with one hit. Why don't we change to using the palm?" He said, 'Sure, just hit me.' There were witnesses; I had no intention to hit him. He said, 'Just hit.' After, 5, 4, 3, 2, I hit with a loud 'BA', in a large baseball field. The students that were practicing by the side quieten down, the other F3 who were talking also quieten down, everyone kept quiet and looked at us. Then we stared at each other for 5 seconds. He stared at me for 5 seconds, then continued with his lines and finished acting that scene. After we finished acting that scene, I immediately said 'sorry'. He did this (Barbie imitated Jerry's action, something like raising his hand and then indicating that it was alright). After that he did not talk to me for 1 month. It was very comical, like this (imitating Jerry again), then he spilt blood.

continued ...Right after she slapped him, the whole place was dead silent, kids playing in the fields, the director and other production peeps paused and look at them. The actor continued to act out the scene, said he's ok, spat out some blood and completely ignored her for 1 whole month.

basically she was recalling a time where she had to punch this actor in the face for a scene she was doing. They had a lot of re-takes because the director said it wasn't real/good enough. As a result, the actor(her bf in real life) said give it to me for reals! but she claimed that she packed a hard punch, so she said she'll slap him real hard instead ...

hahah just that da s slapped jerry yan (during the filming of MG1) a little too hard and as a result, jerry yan didnt talk to her for a month.

she said something about one acting scene. when she had to act with her partner Jerry, she supposed to slap him on his face, but there was some diffuculty of slapping on empty space... then Jerry asked her to use her real force, she rejected at first but Jerry insisted. so when action she really slaped on his face and found the surrounding people and the whole crew were all freezed due to shockness... the scene was very succesful however Jerry stoped talking to her for a month :)

She's talking about the part where she was supposed to hit Jerry Yan in Meteor Garden. The director kept telling her to really use force to hit him, and she said that she really did use full force. Then Jerry yan told her to just do the real thing, don't act it out, but really hit him, so she did, even though she warned him that it'd be painful. Then they didn't talk for one full month after that.
