People with Kallmann syndrome and hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism can be at risk of developing osteoporosis (brittle bone disease) due to low levels of circulating testosterone or oestrogen. It is suggested that patients with KS or HH should have a bone density scan (DEXA) at least once every 5 years.
