@redeye998 you gotta reduce the tension in pedal springs. that should reduce the 'bounce'.
-
Can u use this to improve with double bass technique aswell???
-
Does it matter the "bounce"ability of your pedal? I got an Iron Cobra but i don't know why it bounces too freaking much when it hits the bass drum and sometimes it hits my leg...

I really like your videos and am glad I found your independent channel so I am Subscribing. I really like how you explain things, and especially when you show us what NOT to do, that is just as important. See I thought heel toe really meant you hit it with your heel and then sort of rock your foot and hit it again with your toe (technically the ball of your foot), well now I know.

ive been told different ways on where to put my foot on the pedal. do i put my foot half way down the pedal or do i cover my entire foot over the pedal. my drum teacher told me to put it half way down the pedal so i dont hav to move my foot as much (thus having more power) but i feel like i dont hav much control in the timing of the hit anymore. plz help!

i prefer slide technique

o and try tightening the springs thats always helps

Everybody whose havin issues almost think ankle motion with the slide assisting. Try practicin keeping only your heel down, your anterior calf will burn like hell but after even a week you'll see your foot speed go up, and then try the technique
Haha ... "I don't recommend cutting your foot off".

clarifying that you dont actually use your heel helps so much already
