Do you realize that the Ready to Run products from Athearn run smoother, have much more detail, and overall opperated and look more realistic that bluebox. you should expect them to cost more. If you want a great project locomotive, do what i do, buy the Athearn Blue Boxes.

athearn products marked up 150% for the ready to run vs. blue box kit. i cannot afford this hobby anymore...nice way to drive away people from the hobby.

Great locomotive!!! But on Athearns web page I can't find tracks, transformers, remote controls for the locomotives. Can you help me?

Athearn makes only locomotives and rolling stock. Try out Atlas for track and transformers.
