Just trust GOD when the WORD of GOD is revealed to us and as we go from FAITH to FAITH, then it comes through the process of being tested and our obedience. What you are talking about in Joel chapter 3 "I will gather all nations and will bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat and plead with them there" is speaking of armageddon or the valley of decision. Or it could be called the valley of judgement because that's what the word decision here means the judgement has been decided. This is coming soon. Before it comes though you must first have a 3 and a half year reign of antchrist and a 3 and a half year great tribulation period.

The idea of "getting saved" is a false doctrine. We can't isolate Scriptures to fit a so called New Year Theme. You have to study every person, every word in the original text, every metaphor and simile in order to understand what God meant by "I will shake the heavens and the earth". God is revealing himself through his Word, which is Truth, which is the Holy Spirit. My point is we can't interpret this Jewish Book through 21st century perspective. There's more into these words
