God, I miss What the Papers Say.

I think Julie Burchill is a fantasist, who seems to think everyone wants her and is just hateful and hateful. Though Toby Young is also a complete and utter arsehole. Burchill maybe controvesial but arrogance isn't attractive and neither is her self obsession.
I love this presenter, she is very, very funny and better with words. Burchill once claimed to have run the Modern Review by supplying the staff with coke, if anyone believe it to be remotely true, why was she not done for supplying?

@Freshhhhh1982 Priveliged son of a Lord,Toby Young is a vain yet ugly bad-cycling ~ run over on HollandParkAvenue 'cos he answered his mobi, dopey wazzock ~ elitist-school-promoting MateOfDave Tory twat. All for a free press,he is made up that Shami Chakrabarti,Elinor Goodman & George Jones are on the #Hackgate inquiry panel because they won't promote statutory press regulation.Ah yes Tobes is all for the status quo ante seeing as the press is doing such a responsible job of self-regulation.

Birchill is a disgusting fat cunt and I hope that she sees the other side of free speech, it has consequences.

This always was one of the funniest programmes on television.
Never take it seriously, it's about the appalling press we have in this country.

To David 552 yes I plead guilty on all counts I am being myopic in my
observations. However the Matrix Churchill affair was of primary
consideration at the time.

I am pleased to say that What The Papers Say has made a welcome return, in audio form at least, to BBC Radio 4 on Sunday night at 10:45pm.
