Search for Survivors of Boat Capsize Continues

The search continues for suspected immigrants who were on board a boat that capsized off the coast of Florida. Its believed 30 Haitians were on the boat. Nine are confirmed dead. (May 14)

ok waiting for a visa 21 years is ridiculous. i agree. but it doesn't matter, we have laws here to prevent people from doing what they want to do. i doubt you can just walk into other countries at your whim and just set up shop. yes i was born here and i'm not spoiled or entitled to anything i work hard for what i have. one of my closest friends is from haiti and he's a big DEMOCRAT LIBERAL who thinks illegals should just walk in. i feel bad for the haitian people.

I have an aunt over there. A perfectly law abiding citizen. She has been waiting for her visa for 21 years! Think about it this way... if you had children and you knew that they had a better chance at life in America wouldn't you do the same. I would! You guys were probably born in America, so your spoiled and think hat your entitled to everything you have. Honestly look at some of these videos on youtube about the plight of Haiti. Take a glimpse at what a day in the life of a Haitian is like.

@xmyaxmassacrex: when the pilgrims came over here, there was no government, no laws, no constitution. years later after all that was established, we now have laws. like i said before those people need to go back to their own countries. we can't sustain all of this illegal alien influx nonsense (not paying taxes, bankrupting hospitals and schools etc) they need to go back to there own countries if they want to come here, come here legally and stand in line like other immigrants have done.

So I'm guessing your closed mindedness stopped you from hearing the part at 1:01 that said they "were trying to flee the desperately poor Haiti." You don't know what their living conditions are over there. No heat no running water , no police, no AMBULANCES! If America ever became like that hell yea I would be on the first plane to Canada.

This country was made with egal Immigrants! NOT ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. Immigrants must go through the proper legal channels so we don't have a bunch of criminals and terrorists and infected people invading our country. Too many of you people forget that!
