That's possible. The development costs of this locomotive were so high, that Märklin had to sell more of these engines to make it profitable. The big boy has been included in an American starter set, along with a digital Santa Fe EMD F7 A-B unit. I believe there are three types of this locomotive, the one being more advanced than the other. Here in the Netherlands, there are always some big boys to be found on Dutch ebay.
ist priceless, let alone trying getting hold of these models costs a lot of t:me. The Bigboy is a one time build by Märklin. Not sold in shops , but for 'Insider members' only.
