The book was nothing more than a rehash of his own life...load of rubbish cant believe the reviews it got...there was nothing about how he got radicalised because he doesnt know because that would be 'fiction'...why is he getting these awards??? Kamila Shamsie should. Hamid is a fraud.

Mohsin Hamid is so sly. He pretends to be Mr. Balanced and he is so blatantly part of Pakistan's propaganda machine. Moshin Hamid is a big dirty and bald skunk. The man cites a Mumbai taxi driver to support his agenda. He has also criticised my country Bangladesh without any evidence. What a great scholar.

Pakistani youth should follow Mohsin's footsteps and defend their culture and religion in an intellectual manner like how Mohsin is doing. Even if you are agnostic-Muslim, Atheist or whatever, Muslim youth should never run from the fact that they will and always SHOULD remain culturally Muslim and identifiy themselves as so. Rather than focussing on becoming just another successful businessman in a western country, just another doctor or engineer or singer or cricketer, be Mohsin Hamid..

i just finnished his latest Book "The reluctant fundamentalist " I advice every one to read it. It is though provoking and intelligently written!!! Great guy, this Mohsin Hamid!!!
