  • @michaelangelo27 I agree. My grandmother had FITS about watching ANYTHING that even had the BAD GUY a witch. She gave me all kinds of problems back in 1981 when I watched the Smurfs over at her house. Needless to say when Voltron came out a few years later, I had to keep my hand on the remote while watching it over at her house, just in case she came into the room (especially during Hagar scenes).

  • Yeah, I had family members who didn't approve of Voltron (since it had a witch in it), Smurfs (since they had a "wizzard" and Papa Smurf used magic spells), as well as Gummi Bears (because of the lyric "MAGIC and mysery are part of their history..."). Growing up in the 80's, I was "taught" how demonic and evil all these secular things are- can't imagine if I grew up in the 90's with Harry Potter, and other stuff where a wizzard is the MAIN CHARACTER what that would have been like!

  • Ah stupidity.

  • Wow. And they wonder why more and more people every single day turn away from christianity. These people are friggin nuts!

  • I always wondered if the trinity was like the individual Voltron robots transforming into one big robot. Maybe they shout, 'Wonder twins activate!' before jumping into action. Maybe they're offended by the suggestion of a robotic holy pentity. I have to trust that this guy knows the occult when he sees it, though. Look at that haircut & mustache. They scream authority.

  • I've been christian all my life, and I can safely say these guys are totally retarded. Saying these cartoons are dangerous for kids is pretty laughable now. Watching a cartoon with a witch in it doesn't make a child a witch any more than an atheist celebrating Christmas makes them christian.

  • Ha ha, what? I call Poe's Law; I'm an Atheist, and even I have trouble beliving there's Christians *this* retarded.

  • They must have had a field day with He-man and She-Ra. The Sorceress pretty much gave both of the their powers.
