  • How often are the tubes in the boiler cleaned. The soot from the wood and the kerosene can quickly foul the tubes. The fire should only be lit with scoops of charcoal soaked in charcoal light fluid.

  • Do you have to do boiler mabinence or anything? FRA regulations apply? Also, is the 425 you are talking about, is it RBMN 425?

  • As for the grease gun that is not small enough for one of the lube job, have you tried needle (grind down the sharp point first)? I used that on helicopter hangar bearing (tail rotor shaft on top of tailboom), you can bend 'em as well.
