  • what were you thinking at the time? did you know about the war or whatever?

  • Yeah, I had seen the War before, and I sort of recognised Chris Taylor, but I was still fooled for the first half (he's really convincing). But after he showed the balcony space I started looking around for the cameras.

  • That is really cool, some of the stuff they did was really crazy (the botox bit on the last episode). It's to bad they have wrapped it up, I just hope that they make a new show. Like the guy standing behind you at 1:40, was he apart of the crew ?

So were the cameras hidden like really well?

  • The static hidden ones were hidden quite well, I couldn't find them at all. But there was a guy in there with a camera who said he was filming the place for his girlfriend who couldn't make it (which I had seen happen many times before while househunting). For some reason, I didn't suspect him at all, but of course he turned out to be part of the crew. You can see him crouching down and filming next to me when I'm on the balcony at 1:40.

  • Haha okay last question, I promise. This is the thing which i want to know about all of their stunts. You being one of the people involved, did they clear everything up at the end of it? (tell you it was for a show ect) I also have to thank you very much for answering everything for me.

  • Yes, afterwards they cleared everything up and asked me to sign a release form (and were very happy that I knew what The Chaser was, which saved them a lot of explaining). They also gave me $50 cash in an ABC envelope for my inconvenience and offered me a ride home.

I don't think they give money to people in their stunts very often though, this was kind of a special case because I had to make an appointment to see the apartment and took the time out of my potentially busy day to go there.

  • Many times I have seen hundreds of people looking at the same place. And some were over a thousand.

  • @Aramgutang you did well getting $50, weve been looking everywhere for 2 months drove from sydney to newcastle to find it was just leased, $60 fuel for nothing, we went to see two houses at gwandalan, rang at 9, got there at 11 and while we were travelling both houses go leased,$40 fuel for nothing, we had a appointment @ lurnea this morning and yesterday arvo they jacked up the price, we tried to get a appointment at st andrews but they allready had 400 names down but still advertised.

  • nicely done :D
