@mykakma If you can find it, there's a Warner Bro's performance of this song in Germany (live acoustic) where Brent talks in some depth about the song. It was a close friend of his going separate ways from his wife, unable to articulate quite how he felt, so this song was written for him

@mykakma Well, I said it was sad because it says "Call me your favorite, call me the worst. Tell me its over, I dont want you to hurt." Its sort of bittersweet. Its sweet they love the person enough to let them go, but at the same time its sad because they shouldn't have to.
