the lightning was no further than 50 to 100 feet away. I have been directly struck as well as have had several "close" within a few hundred feet. You can hear the snapping sound before the flash - typically in a lightning strike that is over 250-500 feet away, the flash will be roughly equidistant with the "snap" in time and space.
In this case either sound travels faster than light or it's less than 100 feet, so we know the answer.

ya it does get pretty bad here with lightning i saw lightning hit my street a few times and hit my neighbors sidewalk once which was nearly 15ft from where i was standing. never go out in the rain lol

@autisticotakugirl thats the magnetic radiation that comes from the lightning en it affects the camera.... so the strange light you see isn't real, but is made by the camera itself cause its exposed to magnetic fields from the lightining
