What about the motor mounts has to be changed? welding in new brackets?
im going from a 267 (SBC) In a 82 Olds to a 88 Chev 350

Special brackets for power steering? What the hell are you guys talking about. All that has to be changed is the motor mounts, and trans, assuming your going from small block olds to sbc. That's a g body, exactly the same as any Malibu Monte Carlo elcamino from 79-87.

@mramazing9000 are you putting a olds motor or chevy motor in the car?

actually i had that problem so i got no power steering right now. the motor in it is out of a van so it has a huge power steering bracket. i have a bracket off of a monte carlo ss that i am going to use but im waiting for it to warm up so i can go to the junkyard and get bolts.
