The purpose of the Blue & Gold Banquet at the Cub Scout Leader Pow Wow is to teach attendees how to put on a Blue & Gold Banquet (or any Pack Meeting for that mater). This is the last in a series of 5 videos giving ideas for how to put on a Blue & Gold banquet, or any Cub Scout Pack Meeting for that matter!

The Arrow of Light is the highest award a boy may earn as a Cub Scout - it is akin to a Boy Scout earning his rank of Eagle. It is also the only award from his Cub Scout years that he is allowed to wear on his Boy Scout uniform. It is a pretty big deal for a boy to earn his Arrow Light! As such, it is even more important to have a meaningful ceremony to recognize the boy's achievements and hard work as well as the support of his parents. This is an example of how an Arrow of Light ceremony may be done.
