I know what you mean, seems like most applications of the "Go Green" craze are basically just a state of mind without any real impact on water conservation, pollution, electrical conservation, ect.

you know, for years Europe has been using these things called washdown toilets. Instead of wasting gallons of water draining the bowl, new water simply pushes the dirty water out. They use less water, are hard to clog, and eaisier to clean. Now it makes ya wonder why we don't see these in North America.

yeah except I take ridiculously long showers, so If I HAD a bathtub, it would probably waste LESS water.

another good way to save water: if it's yellow let it mellow if it's brown, flush it down!

and shower less. you don't need to shower every day.
