これが27年前のゲームなんだよな。
当時はゲーセン小僧が多かったよ。

@Racer5121 1:53 So nice to hear that high note properly... aaah.
-
@Racer5121 You should hear the PC Engine versions music. It is better than both :)

昔のゲームの曲ってなんでこんなに夢やロマンがあるんだろう…
-
@Racer5121 of course! the NES is inferior to the arcade (althought the NES OST could have been much better anyway)
-
@Snyperwolf91 Eh? The Morning Music is from the arcade game.
-

The original arcade gradius was on bubble system. Bubble system carts needed to warm up before they worked properly. So they had a small bootstrap program that would play this music and display the countdown to give the main memory time to warm up. The arcade was re-released on non bubble system memory, but they didn't change the program rom, so it still played the music and showed the countdown. :) However the countdown is too fast on MAME.

It's worth noting that this game's soundtrack was composed by a 16-17 year-old female musician, Miki Higashino.
