How heavy are your fans? Mine are 18 oz each and I can't seem to keep the spins going so long without a movement of my forearm which prevents the smooth continuous spins you seem to be achieving. Spins decrease in speed and have to be continuously "restarted" with a bigger arm movement.

Oh my gods this is blowing my mind. I have been spinning fire fans about a year and was looking for more advanced techniques. You are amazing - fans truly look like an extension of you!

Where can I buy the DVD? Is it already out?

Awesome stuff here!
But the black shirt with the poor lighting makes a lot of the centerline stuff hard to see.
Hope to see you at WildFire!

I'm a fire hooper who recently bought fans-- Is there any place online where I can find more tutorials? How did you learn all that? The only girl around here who spins fans doesn't really have any actual moves, she just waves them around and tries to be sexy. That's great and all, but I really admire true technique and form. Help?

Hey Guera. There are some basic tutorials on Home of Poi, but nothing too complex. I learned this stuff by watching another tool, and making it up as I went along. Still lots more to come, I will get another video up soon. Thanks guys for all of your support!
