@AussieblogCH does it have a slow mow capture setting or is this an effect you added after? Cause that's better than my 3ccd mini dv camcorder! I'm tempted to buy a new camera cause I do lots of action filming, frisbee and agility trials, and mine is only 3yrs old and still works fine but frame rate is not great.
@CanadianAnimalLuver I can record with 60 frames per second, which means that I can slow the video down by 50% and it still looks "fluid"... to make it slower you'll need an editing program like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe After Effects... I think iMovie would work too...
If you want to do photography and record video, the Canon T2i/550D is perfect!
If you only need the camera to record video, I would get a normal Camcorder... Sorry for the long responding time ;)
I do want both. I have both a digital point & shoot 8mp. I would have gone SLR but needed something extra portable and weather proof. And I have a 4yr old 3ccd mini dv camcorder but I find the frame rate rather crappy, none of my action videos ever turn out that nice. At the time it was the best camera for under a thousand. I can't afford a new cam this year sadly. All my money gets spent on trials and traveling to trials. But hopefully in the next year or two I can upgrade.
@CanadianAnimalLuver oh, ok. Well, you could also just get a Flip Ultra HD... really portable and kinda cheap (about 200 USD). The new Flip cameras shoot at 60 frames per second and have built-in image stabilization and really good video quality.
shit, what kind of camera do you have that's some really good quality!
