In trying to revise my own response, I mistakenly deleted sniper300mag's comment: "Too bad Sparks doesn't think it is important to vote, because it is.", to which the response was: "Now I don't want to put words in Sparks' mouth, but I'm pretty sure he would say that if you're going to make a statement like that and be taken seriously, you'll need to back it up with actual information and sound reasoning."

Well done! The reality is, none of this discussion would ever happen. The principals in the Declaration of Independence were shown the door once The Constitution was ratified. What is happening now is EXACTLY what the Federalists wanted. If the Constitution of our country is so great, why has it allowed what is happening to happen? The reality is, as soon as someone has involuntary dominion over your life and property, you are a slave. If you can't opt out, you're a slave.

The best commentary on the failures of the administration I've heard this year. Sparks' littany of Obama's economic failures is priceless, as are his comments on what all the bad economic policies portend for the future of the nation. I can picture Sparks hanging his head and uttering, "So many Keynesians, so little time."

@WanderingSeer, you're half-way there. You've got the foundation, you just need to take the next step. The Constitution is just words. Compare it to the Declaration of Independence and you will see that those words are very timid and vague.  The reality is, the Federalists had a counter-revolution and won it. Once Lincoln preserved the union at all costs, he made the rest of us slaves.
