A trio of myself, Margot, and Helen, singing a Welsh lullaby called All Through the Night. My mother used to sing this song to me when I was a little girl, and it has been one of those songs that a snippet of would go through my head from time to time over the years, but never enough to know what it was. Getting to sing it for her (and other people) was really a beautiful privilege. I made my Mommy cry. :-D
I cry easily, which is why I'm staring at the music pretty much the whole time. I knew that if I looked up at her, I wouldn't be able to sing. Again, from the June 14, 2009 recital at Merrill Gardens.
This is beautiful. Thanks very much.
i would like to send this as a prayer for the late and wonderful Kate McGarrigle from Montreal, who left this world recently...
May we find our way again.

Very lovely, ladies. :) You sound beautiful. The blend is off in just one or two places - at least it sounds that way to me... I'm curious as to which woman was singing which part. :) Gorgeous song - it was a pleasure to hear you sing.
